Watch storm Cpasmieux. Over the past year, the atmosphere at Mariska's home has changed dramatically. Her parents are no longer able to communicate, so Mariska (13) escapes from this stifling environment. On the beach, she meets Christiaan, a kite surfer, who gives Mariska a sense of freedom that she increasingly succumbs to. Mariska's parents' relationship is under great strain because of her behavior, but even when her father leaves them, she continues to fight to bring about change within the family.
